FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about eligibility, cost, and getting started with our programs.

Who is eligible to receive services?

You must be 18 or older, have a desire for help, and be able to manage your own medication. Every application is reviewed by our treatment team before acceptance. We are not able to provide housing for registered sex offenders, though our food pantry and clothes closet remain open to anyone in need.

Are your programs and services free?

Yes. Spiritual support, alcohol and drug recovery, relapse prevention, recovery and employment skills, anger management and our other programs are all free, as are the food pantry and clothes closet. The one exception is transitional housing: clients who have income contribute toward their housing on a scale based on what they earn.

How do I get started or request assistance?

Emailing us is the quickest way, and we check messages several times a day. You can also call the office, reach case management or housing directly, or come see us in person.

The cell numbers accept text messages if that is easier.

Do you accept referrals and court-ordered clients?

Yes. We accept court-ordered clients and referrals for anger management, substance abuse services, drug testing and re-entry. Referrals come from community agencies, churches, other providers and walk-ins.

What areas do you serve, and do you help with transportation?

We serve the Memphis area. Transportation is part of our case management: we get clients to mental health appointments, probation appointments and anywhere else essential to a successful re-entry, alongside food, clothing and housing support.
